The Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G is also a tablet using Android operating system with smart and subtle design. The Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G is the successor to Streak 5 which failed to click in the market because of the miniature screen size. The tablet is by no means small compared to the small version in the field. Weighing nearly half a kilo is not light weight though the tablet can be handled without difficulty. Nicely curved design is quite attractive. The instrument is very functional and elegant to look at except for the location of the jack for the head phone.

Features

The Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G tablet has become compact, but not mini sized. It measures by .50 X 7.9X 4.7 inches and weighs 15.5 ounces. It is provided with a slot for a SD card of full size and also for ISM card. The cover can be opened and closed quite easily. The navigation buttons are there for menu and back functions all aligned at the bottom. The screen has touch use facility which is over sensitive leading to malfunctioning at times. The camera is fixed in the middle facing the front.

The video camera has a 1.30 Megapixels capacity. The speakers are positioned on the two sides when the tablet is kept in horizontal position. This designing prevents your hands using sides covering the speakers. The multi touch screen in Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G tablet has a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. There is very little that has been done to customize the product and almost everything about the tablet is Android made. Bluetooth connectivity and also to other platforms is possible in Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G. It also hosts a number of other applications including playing games.

Storage and Battery

The Dell Streak 7 Wifi +3G comes with an internal memory of 16GB.  Another 16GB can be added by SD card for which a slot has been provided. The power source is lithium ion battery of 2780 mAh. The battery is rechargeable. The capacity of the battery is such that it can run for about 8 hours without any break, after which the battery will need recharging. Recharging takes very little time as you need not wait till it is fully drained. The time taken for recharging is barely 1hour. With USB cable provided the tablet can be used on mains also. Being a mobile gadget it is never done.
